The Cincinnati Reds have high hopes of returning to the playoffs this season after a disappointing 2014 marred by injuries left them near the bottom of the National League Central race in 2014. Anyone who follows the Reds knows that the team needs big comebacks by Joey Votto, Jay Bruce, Brandon Phillips and Homer Bailey, as well as continued success by Johnny Cueto, Billy Hamilton and Todd Frazier to make that happen.
Regardless of how the Reds end up the 2015 season, though, certain players will rise above the rest, and they are our focus here. Who will be the team leaders as Cincinnati tries to get back to October? That’s hard to say this early, of course, but here are our picks for the Reds’ award winners in 2015 as we enter the final stages of Spring Training.
