Cincinnati Cyclones Begin Playoffs

Your Cincinnati Cyclones are in the Kelly Cup Playoffs again in 2014. The Cyclones have had a great year as they look to win their third Kelly Cup since 2008.
The Cyclones (41-23) start their playoffs in Orlando to take on the Orlando Solar Bears (43-24). Cincinnati enters the playoffs as a 5 seed in the Eastern Conference while Orlando enters as a 4 seed in the Eastern Conference. The first round is a best of seven series that starts this Thursday April, 17th at 7pm in Orlando.
The schedule for the first round is as follows:
Game 1 – Thurs., Apr. 17 at ORL – 7:00pm
Game 2 – Sun., Apr. 20 at ORL – 7:00pm
Game 3– Wed., Apr. 23 vs. ORL – 7:35pm (Playoff Package Holders use Game Ticket A)
Game 4 – Fri., Apr. 25 vs. ORL – 7:35pm (Playoff Package Holders use Game Ticket B)
Game 5 – Sat., Apr. 26 vs. ORL – 7:35pm** (Playoff Package Holders use Game Ticket C)
Game 6 – Tue., Apr. 29 at ORL – 7:00pm**
Game 7 – Wed., Apr. 30 at ORL – 7:00pm**

The series comes to Cincinnati next Wednesday the 23rd. Tickets are still available. If you’ve never been to a hockey game you must attend a playoff hockey game. The atmosphere and speed of the game is second to none.
Also on Tuesday the Cyclones announced their playoff roster, according to Cycloneshockey.com this is the roster:
Forwards (13): Barry Almeida, Joe Basaraba, Josh Birkholz, Zach Budish, Dan Eves, Byron Froese, Jonathan Hazen, Trevor Lewis, Wade Megan, Brian Nugent,Josh Shalla, Logan Shaw, Matt Tinordi
Defensemen (7): Taylor Aronson, Andrew Blazek, Mike Dalhuisen, Devon Krogh,Pat O’Keefe, Chris Reed, Brett Wysopal
Goaltenders (2): Magnus Hellberg, Rob Madore
The Cyclones also have 9 AHL players that they may also call up in the case of an injury.
