Cincinnati Bengals Linebacker Vontaze Burfict Questionable For Sunday’s Game.

The heart and soul of the Cincinnati Bengals defense and the NFL’s tackles leader, could be out this Sunday due to a ankle injury he suffered Friday afternoon.

LB Vontaze Burfict suffered it during the team’s walkthrough. He was limited in the workout and is listed in the injury front as questionable for the game.

Burfict has had a all-pro bowl caliber year, leading the league with 118 tackles. So if he misses the game, it will be backup Vincent Rey to replace him, he’s been playing some great football for three weeks filling in for Rey Maualuga.

With that being said, Burfict is a tough individual, who has played through some minor injuries, I definitely won’t count him out for this big AFC game against the San Diego Chargers on the road.

As we said yesterday, offensive gurard Kevin Zeitler missed all of practice this week, and is listed as out for the game on the Friday injury report.
