Phillips Placed On Paternity List
By Coop Ledford
Cincinnati Reds second baseman, Brandon Phillips, has been placed on Major League Baseball’s Paternity List. The Paternity List allows players to miss 1-3 during the birth of a child.
Today the club said Phillips was dealing with a “private personal matter”.
Phillips is expected to miss the series against the Athletics, but then will rejoin the club on Friday, at the latest, against the Texas Rangers.
BP was replaced on the roster by Henry Rodriguez.
