Ryan Ludwick To Bat Sixth Tonight

Tonight the Cincinnati Reds will play a rare night game at Wrigley Field in Chicago, and Ryan Ludwick will bat for the Reds for the first time since Opening Day.

The Reds just released their line-up, it has Ludwick batting sixth. In the one game Ludwick played in, he was the clean-up hitter, after his injury, Brandon Phillips became the clean-up hitter. Phillips is the team-leader in RBIs, he is having a boat-load of success hitting clean-up, so the Reds didn’t want to move him else where in the line-up. Jay Bruce is the number five hitter, he is the team-leader in home runs and is having a great season, so it wouldn’t make since to move him else where in the line-up either. Sixth is a good spot for Ludwick to bat.

You can see Ryan Ludwick’s return tonight at 8:10 on Fox Sports Ohio or you can listen to 700 WLW. Or if you leave now, you can get to Wrigley Field by the third inning. Just make sure to follow the game, you won’t want to miss it.
