May 11th – May 17th

The last week for the Cincinnati Reds probably did not go as well as the team would have liked. The team got off to a nice start against the Atlanta Braves. Cincinnati won the series taking the final two games of the three game set. The Reds kept things rolling by winning the first of four games against the San Francisco Giants; however, the wheels quickly feel off after that.

The Giants went on to score 30 runs in the final three games of the series, crushing the teams starting pitching. During the four game set, the starters lasted a combined 18 total innings. Overall the team finished with a 3-4 record the past week. 2-1 against the Braves and 1-3 against the defending World Champion Giants.
