Final Predictions for the Cincinnati Reds’ All-Star Fates

As with everything else about Hamilton, his All-Star case is really interesting. He has not been the best center fielder in baseball, but he is certainly among the most exciting players of 2014, or any season. He’s also on-track, at this moment, to win the NL Rookie of the Year award. Even though he is not in the top 15 vote-getters among outfielders, I have a sneaking feeling that Matheny might go for some flash and small-ball backup ability.
