Walk off! Good night Cincinnati, eat dirt Marty.
That is what happened last night at GABP as Joey Votto hit a monster walk off home run. Sitting in our regular section of 117 last night there was much disgust when Jonathan Broxton gave up the game tying run. The air was deflated out of the stadium, people left or said obscenities. That all changed though as everyone went home happy.
One interesting thing about always sitting in the same section last night is you seem a litany of different people. You can pick out who will be a problem immediately. Last night there was a very fat man who immediately showed he would be a problem, but it wasn’t him it was his friend. A friend who got vehemently angry when people didn’t stand up when he said stand up, a guy who stared down Rockies pitchers. He was a crazy person but hey that makes going to the ballpark an experience.
Cincinnati Reds (16-18)
A walk off home run, an appearance by Billy Hamilton and another great outing by Johnny Cueto sent the Reds home with a win. Earlier in the week the Reds gave up two wins to the Red Sox as their bullpen collapsed. It appeared Friday the bullpen was going to cost the team yet another win.
That is when Joey Votto showed up in the 9th inning and hit a blast to deep center bouncing off the camera sending everyone home in the muggy Cincinnati night happy. Well after they stayed around for the fireworks.
Billy Hamilton made an appearance last night in the 8th inning hitting a double last night with the game tied 2-2. A Skip Schumaker bunt to the pitcher advanced Hamilton, then a Brayan Pena sac fly scored Hamilton giving the Reds a 3-2 lead. It appears that Billy Hamilton may be back.
The Reds and the Rockies return to GABP at 7:10pm, Alfredo Simon (4-1) will be on the mound for the Reds.
Cincinnati Bengals
Rounds 2 and 3 of the NFL Draft were held Friday night. The Cincinnati Bengals had two picks Friday, #55 and #88 on the night. With the #55 pick in the second round of the Draft the Bengals selected running back Jeremy Hill (LSU). With the #88 pick the Bengals selected defensive end William Clark (WVU).
The Bengals selection of Jeremy Hill was a bit of a surprise with Carlos Hyde still on the board. With the amount of Ohio State fans in Cincinnati it certainly would have been a good idea to pick Hyde from a merchandise and ticket standpoint. Hill though is an all around better back, one without off the field problems.
Saturday the Bengals have picks at #123, 164, 199, 212, 239, 252. That is barring any trades, you can watch for 8 whole hours Saturday from 12pm-8pm. You know if your life is that boring.

First off paranormal activity is apparently real and that scares the shit out of me and it should scare you as well. Secondly, why did the cops rough up the poor victim? Dude just had to put up with being choked and having his hair pulled. Not to mention he probably has the demon inside himself as well.
