What happened yesterday during the Cincinnati Reds game on twitter and after exemplifies this 2014 season. A collapse on back to back night, awful managing, and poor pitching led to a fan meltdown online. The worst this season and the worst in recent season. I as the Positive Pete I am could not manage to be positive.

But hey, at least the weather was great. Am I right? Yeah no one gives two craps about the weather, but at least it is warm out. So warm last night I slept in a tank. Sun wasn’t out but dammit the guns were out.

Oh right, today is Thursday which means grown men reading index cards will flood your televisions for 4 hours. We’ll update you on who the Bengals pick when it occurs. If it is not Teddy Bridgewater or Blake Bortles we will be high disappointed, but Mr. Dalton will be very pleased.

Cincinnati Reds (15-18)

A two game series in Boston against the Red Sox was meant to be a building step for the Reds who came off a series against the Milwaukee Brewers where they won 3 of 4. Instead the Reds were swept in the 2 game series.

Losing a 2 game series can be viewed as nothing, brush it off and move on. It was the way in which the Reds lost that has fans worried and giving up. Back to back nights of bullpen collapses isn’t what this team needed. Not to mention JJ Hoover keeps getting appearances when his ERA is 9.31. That may have fans more annoyed than anything.

NFL Draft

As I said above the NFL Draft is tonight at 8pm on ESPN and the NFL Network. When it comes to picking which network to watch it really is a toss up. To avoid Mel Kiper and Chris Berman watch the NFL Network, you will find your self more sane at the end of the night. Although anyone watching 4 hours of men reading off of index cards may not be sane at all.

Watching the Draft is as bad as watching the spelling bee. An audience of people not really sure what is happening, an individual reading in front of everyone and everyone is considered a winner. Yay.

Bengals will pass on Bridgewater if he is there, just a feeling.
