Get out and vote today! It’s Tuesday in May which means local elections and issues are up for vote. Honestly I don’t care who you vote for I just want you to get out and vote. As a Political Science major it is my job ton say go vote, so do it!

Now after you vote you can watch the Cincinnati Reds take on the Boston Red Sox inside the friendly confines of Fenway Park. No offense to Fenway it may be 100 years old, it may be beloved by baseball fans universally but in reality its not a great stadium. The concourses are too narrow, the aisles are way to close, the seats are on top of each other. Not to mention you have to put up with a bunch of massholes for three hours.

Yes, I am saying that Fenway Park is awful. It’s a cool place to visit, say ‘oh that looks cool’, take your pictures and leave. A lot like Wrigley Field, you see it and think ‘this is it?’. You are somewhat disappointed but you’re still impressed the stadium is this old. Great American Ballpark makes you thankful for what you have.

Cincinnati Reds (15-16)

As I said the Reds travel to Boston to face the defending World Series Champion Red Sox. The Red Sox enter Tuesday’s game struggling to reach .500 just like the Reds. With a 15-17 record the Red Sox look to even their record over the two game series while the Reds look to get above .500 for the first time this season.

Homer Bailey (2-2) enters Tuesday’s game off a great outing in his last start. Tuesday also marks the Reds first game since Jay Bruce has been on the disabled list for 3-4 weeks. Heisey will be replacing Bruce in right tonight.

The game will start at 7:10pm on FSOhio and NESN.

Cincinnati Bearcats

The Cincinnati Bearcats athletic department announced on Monday that the Bearcats games against the East Carolina Pirates has been moved from Saturday November 15th to Thursday November 13th. The game will now be nationally televised at 7pm on ESPN 2.

Moving the game to Thursday ensures that the game will be in primetime and not on ESPN3. While Thursday games are a pain, especially if you have to do something on Friday, it is great for the team and the university to be on primetime.

Video of the Day

Lil Wayne tries to fight Marcos Maidana after this fight with Mayweather on Saturday. Yes a little man wearing skinny jeans, vans, with an arm reach of 26″ tried to fight a man that took Floyd Mayweather to decision. The only way this story could be any dumber is if the Biebs tried to join in as well.
