April is over finally, although I did think there were 31 days in April. It’s May 1st though finally! Not that it matters because it’ll still rain like April but at least we get flowers, at least there are flowers… That is a plus, something to take your mind of the mediocrity of the Cincinnati Reds.
After watching that despicable play of Reds last night I was a little pissed off. So what does my girlfriend decide to do? Oh lets watch Friday Night Lights, the TV show. Yay… I have to say though the show isn’t that bad. But it reaffirmed my hatred of the people of Texas being too proud of the fact they’re from Texas and the fact they think High School football means anything.
There is a girl on the show though Lila? The cheerleader and girlfriend of the paralyzed quarterback, yeah she is one of the worst actresses ever. In my opinion, have to cover my self there. I’ll keep you updated on the show. But the coach is the investigator from Wolf of Wall Street! I’m a fan already.
Cincinnati Reds (12-15)
Edwin Jackson is by all regards a below average starting pitcher, yet both of his wins this season have come against the Reds. What does that say about this version of the Cincinnati Reds? Obviously not much, they are who we thought they were. Stuck in mediocrity.
Tony Cingrani struggled Wednesday night only lasting four innings giving up 3 earned runs. The Reds bullpen was equally as bad if not worse allowing 6 earned runs. Sean Marshall got lit up and Nick Christiani did Christiani things last night. When Logan Ondrusek is your best reliever on a night you know something has gone terribly wrong.
The Reds have the Milwaukee Brewers coming to town Thursday night for a four game series. The Brewers are the best team in baseball coming off the best April in baseball in a few years. Homer Bailey is on the mound tonight for the Reds. Hold on.
Clippers Outrage
Oh the outrage, the people are angry, and this has nothing to do with the actual Los Angeles Clippers. It has everything to do with people including this site having fun with a dream of bringing the Clippers to Cincinnati.
If I actually cared enough to pull tweets from people I would, but quite frankly I don’t give a damn. To quote whoever said that.
It is just funny that people get made about a fictional story that has no possibility of ever happening. Realistically so many things would need to change in order for it to happen. Calm down the story will go away in a few days. Until then read my story on the Clippers to Cincinnati.
Mike D’Antoni
If you haven’t heard the Los Angeles Lakers head coach Mike D’Antoni resigned effective immediately. This story means nothing to Cincinnati, but I just wanted to point out this very classy tweet by Magic Johnson.
For a guy who spoke so highly of himself this past weekend during the Sterling mess this tweet lacks the class Magic seems to think he carries himself with.
Video of the Day
Just a reminder that there is no way in hell Jameis Winston wrote his statement following his shoplifting citation.
