Hi y’all! What a nice day we had in tri-state area of Cincinnati, partly sunny, with temperatures in the 70s.

It was a somber day for me, I went to my friend’s funeral, he passed away so unexpectedly last Friday night, I won’t go into details, but it was a hard week for me, I know he’s in a better place now with the good lord almighty.

Alright, enough with the sadness, let’s get back to sports.

Cincinnati Reds: Remember this team started the season 3-8 and everybody was declaring the season over? Since then, the Reds have won eight of their last 11 games and today defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates today 2-1, to take three of four at Pittsburgh and with the win they move to .500 (11-11).

This team is starting to play well and are buying in to what manager Bryan Price want them to do. Cincinnati is now 5-2 in their current 10 game road trip and well start a weekend three game set in Atlanta against the Braves tomorrow night.

Tony Cingrani picked up the win today going six strong innings and the relief help of Logan Ondrusek, Sam LeCure and Jonathan Broxton pitched three scoreless innings to secure the win for Cingrani and the team.

Cincinnati Bengals: So, last night the schedule came out for the NFL and damn, the Bengals got it rough this season. Three national televised games, Peyton Manning comes to Cincinnati for a Monday night game and we travel to Foxboro to take on Tom Brady on Sunday Night.

More notable quarterbacks we face this season are Drew Brees, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton. This is gonna be a fun season.

NBA Playoffs: The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Indiana Pacers tonight 98-85 in game 3 of the Eastern Conference First Round. Atlanta was back on their home court and took it to Indiana. Yikes, if the Pacers lose game 4 Sunday afternoon, they will not win the series, simple as that.

In the Western Conference, Oklahoma City and the Memphis Grizzles are playing now game 3 of their first round series, as the scene shifts to Memphis.

The Grizzles are up late in the game, I will update the final score of the game once the game is over.

Update: Grizzles defeated the Thunder 98-95 in overtime, to take a 2-1 series lead. Game 4 is tomorrow night at 9:30pm on ESPN 2.

Clippers defeated the Warriors last night in Game 3 as the series shifts to Golden State, final score 98-96. Los Angeles leads the series 2-1, game 4 is on Sunday afternoon 3:30pm on ABC.
