It’s going to rain today. In fact it is raining, so if you weren’t already sick of the wet stuff you’re in luck. If you hate rain like I do, well move to the Mojave.
While rain today is a 100% fact, the other absolute known fact is the Cincinnati Reds will face the St. Louis Cardinals this afternoon for their home opened. There is also some NCAA National Championship happening today, surely the Enquire has a full page spread on Kentucky in it.
Hopefully everyone enjoyed the sunny weekend that Cincinnati had last week, the students at the University of Cincinnati certainly did. Riot police had to be called to Stratford Saturday night as multiple house parities formed into one giant street party. Who said you need to win a tournament game to riot? It was all in good fun though, unless you’re Cincinnati PD.
Cincinnati Reds
The Reds are on a one game winning streak. They look to make it two today against the Cardinals at 4:15pm ET on FSOhio. After beating the Mets behind an amazing outing by Alfredo Simon. Who coincidentally also sparked the Reds offense in the 6th inning off his second career hit.
Now Cincinnati marches into St. Louis to face a team they have only beat 3 times in St. Louis since 2003. Perhaps their worst streak in the history of the club. Tony Cingrani looks to change that tonight. The young starter was fired up last week when he faced the Cardinals. His 7 innings pitched were incredibly strong, allowing only 2 hits and striking out 9 did wonders for Cingrani’s confidence. Hopefully he can replicate that again this afternoon.
National Championship
It ends tonight. Finally.
The National Championship ends tonight, the #8 Kentucky Wildcats face the #7 UConn Huskies. Both teams are a bit of a surprise to be here. All media types will tell you they expected Kentucky to be in the final, strange considering no one picked them during the season. UConn is a real surprise after finishing third in the AAC.
If you’re a Bearcats fans don’t succumb to the Kentucky band wagon in Cincinnati. Jump on the UConn bandwagon and support the American Athletic Conference. The game tips off at 9:10pm on CBS.
Caitlin Rice Bengals Cheerleader? Who is she
Has this girl been famous for awhile or did she just get famous? No idea. What we do know is this girl is giving everyone a run on Instagram for best “butt” on the social media site. TMZ picked up her pictures this weekend and posted them. None of them are nude so don’t worry, everything is clothed.
Being a Bengals Cheerleader may not be very fun, but the Bengals sure know how to pick them. Check out Caitlin Rice on Instagram and see for yourself.
Now I’m confused is she even associated with the Bengals or did George Iloka just tell TMZ he thought she was attractive? No clue, we’ll figure it out.
