US Bank Arena Hosts NCAA Hockey Tournament

US Bank in Cincinnati will host the opening rounds of the NCAA Hockey Frozen Four Tournament this weekend on Friday and Saturday (March 28&29). This will be the first time Cincinnati has hosted the NCAA Hockey Tournament, a major step in the cities endeavor to attract more large sanctioned events to the city.
The tournament is being hosted by Miami University. With the Redhawks being the closest D1 hockey school, and one of the more successful schools over the last five years it only makes sense they host the tournament. Along with Miami the Cincinnati USA Conventions & Visitors Bureau is also helping to host the events.
The four teams that will play in Cincinnati were announced earlier in the week. The University of Wisconsin, Ferris State University, Colgate University and the University of North Dakota will all be making the trek to Cincinnati for the opening round.
Ferris State will play Colgate University at 4:30pm Friday, you can watch on ESPN3. Following that game the University of Wisconsin will face the University of North Dakota at 8pm, you can watch at home on ESPNU. The winners of those game will play each other on Saturday at 6:30pm on ESPNU. The winner of the Saturday game earns a spot in the Frozen Four in Philadelphia.
