Friday night provided one of the best BCS Bowls of the season so far. Honestly the first four BCS games have been wildly entertaining. Ohio State faced Clemson in the Discover Orange Bowl Friday and it continued the trend of entertaining games. Clemson defeated Ohio State 40-35 in a game that had a crazy last two minutes.
Ohio State is known for their relentless and tiring fans on twitter. They are one fan base that seeks out negativity on twitter just to troll, it is insanity really, who would want to anger themselves? Anyways with their activeness on twitter comes some great tweets that will be profiled here.
The following is a collection of tweets that followed the game, excuses, anger, and some laughs.
Irrational Ohio State fan of the day. It’s not being different when the majority hates OSU.
Lol at people who hate OSU for absolutely no reason other than just to be different

Way to hurt our QB, jerk
— Central Ohio Girl (@centralohiogirl) January 4, 2014
Very classy move by Ohio State haters to cheer for Braxton being hurt...very classy
— Josh Poloha (@JorshP) January 4, 2014
Because you know Ohio State fans are the epitome of class.
Then came the tweets questioning the interception that essentially ended the game. Was it bobbled? Possibly but it appeared that the ground caused it bobble.
What the hell was that. And it wasn't even caught.
— Buckeyes (@BuckeyeFever65) January 4, 2014
Wow. What an absolute shame. We have all this technology and we don't use it to help decide the outcome fairly. Awful. Absolutely awful.
— Robby Donoho III (@RobbyDonoho) January 4, 2014
"@OhioStateTees: That wasn't a fucking interception by Clemson"
— #BuckeyeNation (@Buckeyefanohio7) January 4, 2014
After the interception and the game ended came all the excuses. These fans love their excuses. It was the defense, it was the coaches, Clemson plays dirty, blah blah blah.
“You’re 24-2 Urban but honestly you’re doing an awful job.”- Irrational Ohio State fan.
RT “@bucksinsider: If Urban Meyer doesn't fire Fickell then he doesn't deserve to be the head coach of #OhioState” real fucking talk!
— ⭐️IGotHellaNames💯⭐️ (@SwaveManee5) January 4, 2014
@JoshStarkey19 not arguing but I need help wondering why Ohio state didn't call their final 2 timeouts and force them to put it back to them
— Hunter Chandley (@hunter_chandley) January 4, 2014
After the excuses came tweets that just make you question the sanity of some fans, and tweets that make you fully understand why people outside of Columbus despise the Buckeyes.
I like how the Clemson fans are holding up a number 1... sry but you're not number 1 or you'd be in the championship game
— Central Ohio Girl (@centralohiogirl) January 4, 2014
Like we said last night, good thing we live in Cincinnati.
CAN OHIO SATE PLAY GEORGIA SO YALL CAN SEE OHIO STATE IS BETTER!!! HOLY CRAP
— Jacob Clayton (@jayclay34) January 4, 2014
So confused by this tweet. Does he want to play Georgia because they were awful this year and an SEC team Ohio State might be able to beat? Dude makes absolutely no sense. But BOY WAS HE ANGRY.
Yes yes the guy that beat a woman before the season, he is the guy you should call the heart of the team.
"@centralohiogirl: The Clemson coach seems like a real ass"
— #BuckeyeNation (@Buckeyefanohio7) January 4, 2014
Clemson you may have a winning football team, but your band uniforms are hideous
— Janessa Stecker (@JayyyShayyy) January 4, 2014
It came to this. Making fun of band uniforms.
A lot of people hate Ohio State fans. Well we hate you too, pussies.
— MissChihuawow (@MissChihuawow) January 4, 2014
@USMarineGf it's like Ohio State vs. the rest of the college football
— Lys 🐾 (@Ms_Gingerella) January 4, 2014
Alright enough with the Ohio State tweets, it is just too easy. Now I know Ohio State fans will say we’re hating or whatever they want to call it. I’m sure I’ll get profanity laced tweets and comments but really look at your fan base. Just once it would be nice to see a rational sane Ohio State fan, one you can have a conversation with. But they don’t exist so we are here. Best and final tweets of the night.
See you in 2014 Ohio State, Cincinnati is traveling to Columbus.
