With the injuries for the Cincinnati Bengals top two tight ends, get used to hearing Alex Smith and Orson Charles this weekend.

Tight end Jermaine Gresham and Tyler Eifert missed their third straight practice today as the rest of the team went through its last practice in preparation for the Baltimore Ravens game Sunday.

Eifert is listed as doubtful and Gresham questionable on the injury game status list. Head coach Marvin Lewis said he’ll see if they can go, but it looks like the two won’t play.

Eifert left the game last Sunday, with an apparent arm injury, but later it was reported he suffered a stinger. Gresham practiced on Tuesday while being limited, but yesterday and today he was on the sidelines.

Pro Bowl Linebacker Vontaze Burfict returned to practice on a limited bases after going through concussion protocol all week. He suffered a head injury when he made helmet-to helmet contact with Vikings quarterback Matt Cassel last week.

Burfict is listed questionable. No shock here, cornerback Terrance Newman and defensive tackle Devon Still missed practice today. Both are ruled out for the game. Still is recovering from a back injury he suffered last week, and Newman is still comeback from a MCL injury that happened back in week 14.

With the possibility of Eifert and Gresham not playing, Smith and Charles will take their spots. This should be interesting. We also want to congratulate wide receiver AJ Green on making his third straight pro bowl and Burfict on his first.

OUT: Terrance Newman, Devon Still

DOUBTFUL: Tyler Eifert

QUESTIONABLE: Jermaine Gresham, Vontaze Burfict

PROBABLE: James Harrison, Andre Smith, Alex Smith, Vincent Rey, Carlos Dunlap, Dre Kirkpatrick.
