Cincinnati Bengals Wednesday Practice Report.
By Jesse Mapati
The Cincinnati Bengals returned to the practice fields on Wednesday, and players from the defensive side missed today’s session.
The obvious are Cornerback Terrance Newman and Linebacker James Harrison. Newman sprained his MCL in week 15 against the Indianapolis Colts and is out 1- 3 weeks. Harrison left the game on Sunday night in Pittsburgh, with a concussion he suffered in the first half.
Defensive end Carlos Dunlap was a surprised absence from practice. Apparently, late in the game he was slowed to get up after a play, but showed no ill effects after the game. Today, he was officially put in the injury report with a concussion.
Offensive gurard Kevin Zeitler was limited today, and tight end Jermaine Gresham practiced in full, after leaving the game on Sunday with abdomen injury.
