So, its official that 2nd-year cornerback out of Alabama Dre Kirkpatrick will make his first NFL start for the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday night.
Cornerback Terrance Newman is out for the divisional rival game in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. Newman is out 1-3 weeks with a MCL sprain he suffered last Sunday against the Colts. Kirkpatrick will take Newman’s spot, and will be pair up with Adam Jones on opposite sides. It’s time for him to capitalize on this great opportunity, as he has waited for this day since he got drafted by the Bengals in 2012.
Everybody else is a full-go on the injury list, which includes offensive gurad Kevin Zeitler. He will likely be put back into the starting lineup at right guard after missing the last three games with a foot injury.
