Cincinnati Bengals Practice Notes.
By Jesse Mapati
The Cincinnati Bengals had their second year offensive guard out of Wisconsin, not practicing with the team, but working out Wednesday afternoon.
Kevin Zeitler missed the last two games with a foot injury. He went through conditioning exercises as the team went through their first full practice of the week.
He was listed in the “Did Not Practice” list, but he was getting work done by himself slowly and at least that’s a positive sign.
On Tuesday, left guard Clint Boling went on season ending injured reserve after tearing his ACL in the first quarter of the game at San Diego this past Sunday, where the Bengals won 17-10.
Zeitler’s status is still unknown for the game this Sunday, when they host the AFC south leaders Indianapolis Colts. They might mix up the rotation in the offensive line with Andrew Whitworth, Anthony Collins, and Mike Pollak.
If Zeitler doesn’t play, it will be Pollak taking his spot. Whitworth will probably play at Boling’s spot and Collins to Whitworth’s position. Several players were limited at practice today, and it included wide receiver AJ Green. The injury is to his groin, he did also suffered a mild hip pointer in the game this past Sunday.
