This San Diego Chargers offense is a lot different than what this Bengals team saw last season, where they only put up 13 points in the loss to them. Quarterback Phillip Rivers is having one of his best seasons since he’s been in the league. He’s getting great protection from his offensive line, last season he was on the ground a lot, this season he’s been sacked 20 times, one of the fewest in the league.

He loves to check it down to running back Danny Woodhead. Tight end Antonio Gates is still the target he loves to throw to. The running game is really good, and the best the Bengals run defense has faced in a while. Running back Ryan Matthews has been hamper with a minor injury, but will play and is having a great season.

The receiving core is pretty good as well, rookie receiver Keenan Allen has emerged as a favorite weapon for Rivers. This is gonna be the biggest test for the cornerbacks and the secondary, most potent passing game since the Detroit game.

The offense for the Bengals could have a huge day, I said “could” because they have been inconsistent this season. The Chargers defense is not very good. Last in yards allowed on first down. Next to last against the run, and also against the pass. So the offense, must put up numbers to keep with the Chargers high tain offense.

The key for the game is not turning the ball over, Cincinnati is minus seven on the road and plus five at home. Meanning, Quarterback Andy Dalton must not turn over the ball and throw poor passes right to the defenders, because he has thrown 8 interceptions in the last three games.

PREDICTION: Bengals 26, Chargers 23

This will be another down to the wire heart pounding Bengals game. The key for this team is starting fast, which they have struggled this season and is the reason why they fallen back in a deep hole in games and have to comeback. With the bye week, Thanksgiving festivities, four flight to San Diego, and time change. So starting fast is a must. The defense has been outstanding this season and must continue it during the strecth. Offense has to take off, stop falling behind by double digits on the road. Late field goal seals  “hopefully”  a Bengals victory.
