We hope all of you are having a great Thanksgiving with the family. As for the Bengals they are off on this day, but will depart to San Diego tomorrow in preparation for their game against the Chargers late Sunday afternoon. The injury status for the team, which as of now looks much clear than it has been for a while.
With a share of injuries on injuries especially to the defensive side, the team is healthy as they can be late in the season.
Head Coach Marvin Lewis said yesterday “It’s a little chilly outside, but it’s partly sunny, the meteorologist said “It’s cold, but don’t let the cold fool you. We are about as good as you would hope to be at this point in the year, we’ve got to feel blessed that, knock on wood, we’re where we at this point in the season.”
Offensive guard Kevin Zeitler, who injured his foot in the Ravens game three weeks ago didn’t practice yesterday, and neither did punter Kevin Huber. Apparently he has a left ankle injury. He kicks with his left foot.
The good news for Zeitler is that he no longer supporting the walking boot and asked about his status for Sunday’s game in San Diego, Lewis said “We’ll see.”
