Cincinnati Bengals Injury Report
By Jesse Mapati
The Cincinnati Bengals had a lot of players, who did not practice today. This team is limping along the way as a much needed bye
week approaches for them, after their big AFC North tilt game against the Cleveland Browns this Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.
Defensive tackle Devon Still (elbow) and Linebacker Rey Maualuga still remain out, and will probably both won’t return until after the bye week.
Defensive tackle Brandon Thompson, Linebacker Vontaze Burfict, Cornerback Chris Crocker, and Guard Kevin Zeitler all did not participate in practice today due to injuries.
Burfict left the game at one point in Baltimore on Sunday, with a injury, but eventually returned to the game. Expect the heart and soul of the defense to be back out there in the practice fields tomorrow. Zeitler was seen today in the locker room on a walking boot and crutches, so his chances of playing Sunday looks dark.
There were positive news today at the front, Tight End Jermaine Gresham returned to practice, after missing the game in Baltimore with a groin injury. He wanted to play on Sunday, but the coaches and trainers would not allow him to.
