The team is coming off a 74-61 victory of the North Carolina Central Eagles in the regular season opener last Friday night, the team was led by the Senior leader Sean Kilpatrick, who scored a team high 22 points. Titus Rubels and Jermaine Sanders both added 13 points.
The Wolfpack won its season opener as well Friday, defeating Applichain State 98-77. The Cats better contain their best player TJ Warren who dropped 27 points in the opener and also Desmond Lee, he added 24 points in the game too.
Today’s game marks the marks the second of four home contests for the Bearcats in the Global Sports Shootout. UC also will welcome Appalachian State (Nov. 16 this Saturday at 2 p.m. ) and Campbell (Nov. 20 at 7 p.m). Expect a physical game between both teams, don’t expect a lot of points in this contest, the final score could be in the mid 50’s 60’s range with the Cats taking because there at home.
