Billy Hamilton To Start In CF Tonight

Tonight the Cincinnati Reds are playing their final game against the terrible Houston Astros, and Billy Hamilton will start the game in center field.

This will be Hamilton’s first career start. He has had three at bats as a Major Leaguer, but he is still searching for his first career hit. And as we all know, Billy has been inserted into games and put in center field, he has been a pitch hitter a few times, and he has been a pinch runner a few times.

It will be interesting to see how Hamilton does tonight. We will get to see him bat a few times, and hopefully we’ll get to see him hit from both sides. Also, we’ll get to see how well he can play defense. I know that we’ve seen some of that already, but we’ll get a larger sample size tonight.

First pitch is at 8:10 PM Eastern and will be on Fox Sports Ohio.
