Johnny Cueto To Start Tomorrow, Cingrani To The Pen.

Reds ace Johnny Cueto is scheduled to be activated off the DL tomorrow and will start in the final game of the three game series against the Brewers in Cincinnati. Cueto returned to the DL because of soreness on his right lat muscle that sidelined him for a month this stint as pre-cautation so that Cueto will be healthy and be ready for the down stretch and hopefully wont re-aggravated the injury again. He is vital to the team success this season in hopes of going deep in the postseason if they make it.

Now I’m hearing reports that Tony Cingrani Reds top young prospect pitcher could stay in the bigs and will be use in the bullpen. Reasons because the pen is banged up like no other Jonathan Broxton went on the DL today and Sean Marshall remains there. Nobody knows if Nick Masset is going to comeback because we haven’t heard anything so I’m assuming we wont see him at all this season but you never know.

So with all that Cingrani would be there  just until Broxton or Marshall come back healthy. I believe Cingrani have earned the right to be in the big leagues and i know I’m no manager but if i want to the bullpen to be strong again I’ll take him over Manny Para to add another hard thrower lefty in the pen but that’s just me saying i know Reds fans will favor Cingrani over Para in the pen any day at least I’m hoping they think like i do but we will find out tomorrow afternoon.
