The Bengals Will Take Eddie Lacy In The NFL Draft
By Matt Niehaus
I’m going to go ahead and call this, I may look like a complete idiot in 4 hours but the Cincinnati Bengals will take Eddie Lacy with the 21st overall pick in tonights NFL Draft.

Now if Lacy gets taken before the 21st pick I look like an idiot, thats fine because this is like playing the lottery you have a better chance of counting cards at the Horseshoe Casino than guessing all the draft selections correctly. If Lacy is gone by 21 look for the Bengals to take a cornerback or safety with that pick.
No teams in front of the Bengals have expressed interest in drafting a running back in the first round. Eddie Lacy is a solid talent, a legitimate first round talent that the Bengals will pounce on should he make it back to them. Lacy has already visited Cincinnati and from all reports things went well. The Bengals need a stout dependable running back and based on Lacy’s career and season at Alabama they will be drafting a great young running back. A kid who 1322 yards last season with 17 touchdowns averaging 6.3 yards a carry in the SEC. Lacy can also catch to, a powerful tool in an Andy Dalton offense.
Besides his on field talent, Eddie Lacy is an exceptional young man. If anyone caught the E:60 piece on him you know he is a first class person. Comes from a great hard working family, and wants nothing more to help his parents out who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina. Whoever drafts Eddie Lacy is getting one hell of a player and person.
If Lacy is gone by 21 look for the Bengals to go after Eric Reid a free safety from LSU or Matt Elam a free safety from Florida.
We’ll all find out around 10pm tonight.
