Today the Reds announced that their ace, Johnny Cueto, has been placed on the 15-day disabled list.
Cueto strained a back muscle during Saturday’s game against Pittsburgh.
Cueto will likely miss three starts or so.
The team brought right-hander Justin Freeman from AAA Louisville to fill Johnny’s roster spot.
Even though Freeman has been brought up, there is still a chance that the club will bring up the left-handed pitcher Tony Cingrani to start in place of Cueto.
