Cincinnati Could Soon Be a College Football Powerhouse
By Coop Ledford
Everyone that is a Cincinnati Bearcats fan is upset right now. Why? Because Ohio State held their Spring Game in Cincinnati, and the media had a great time with them because they are an elite college football team. A lot of people in Cincinnati root for Ohio State rather than the team in their own backyard, the Cincinnati Bearcats.
I cannot blame UC fans for being upset at all, but the Cincinnati Bearcats, like Ohio State, could soon be a college football powerhouse.
After Butch Jones
left for Colorado, decided to stay at UC
, left for Tennessee, it seemed like UC was in bad shape. But a short time later, UC hired a living legend, Tommy Tuberville as their head coach.
Getting Tuberville was good enough, but now things are even better because the former #1 High School QB, Gunner Kiel, announced that he is transferring to UC.
Kiel can’t play this year, but he’ll be able to suit up in 2014.
UC always has a great team, I mean they’ve had 3 10-win seasons in the last 4 years. So with Gunner Kiel, Tommy Tuberville, and an already great team, UC will have the chance to raise some eyebrows.
They may not go 14-0 and win the National Championship every year Kiel is a Bearcat, but expect great things in the future for UC Football.
