Big East Reveals 2013 Football Schedule

facebooktwitterreddit

In 2013 the Big East will boast a new 12-team football format, broken down into two divisions. Though, this new system will likely change in 2014 with the exit of Rutgers for the Big Ten and Louisville for the ACC, the divisions allow for each team to play eight conference games per season. Five of those games will be against division opponents, while the other three will feature cross-division matchups.

The current conference structure looks this:

East Division

Central Florida
Cincinnati
Connecticut
Louisville
Rutgers
South Florida

West Division

Boise State
Houston
Memphis
San Diego State
SMU
Temple

Though dates still have not been released, the home and away games for each team has been unveiled. It looks like Cincinnati is going to have to the chance to rack up some frequent flyer miles with an away schedule that sends them to the far west and deep south.

Here is how the home and away schedule lines up for the Bearcats. What do you think of the Bearcats’ chances in 2013?
