Bills Top Miami in AFC East Showdown, Harbaugh Has Heart Procedure

In case you missed the action on Thursday Night Football, the Bills held off a late game surge by the Dolphins on Tannehill turnovers. Buffalo won the game on the back of C.J. Spiller’s run game, 19-14.

Jim Harbaugh, head coach of the 49ers, was sent to the hospital Thursday after doctors discovered he had an irregular heartbeat. They performed a minor procedure on the coach, after he began experiencing chest pain. The team says that they expect Harbaugh back in full form today at practice.

NHL and NHLPA talks continue to drag on. No progress has been made and sources say talks may be stretching into December. The lockout is not looking good for the NHL season ever getting back this season.

WNBA star and Olympic gold medalist Chamique Holdsclaw in being held in police custody at Fulton County Jail after she alleged ex-girlfriend and fellow WNBA star, Jennifer Lacy to her car on Tuesday and shooting into the car and using a bat to break its windows. No one was injured in the incident. Holdsclaw has been charged with aggravated assault, second-degree criminal damage and reckless conduct. Her bond is set at $10,000.

MLB announced their league MVP’s last night. Buster Posey from the San Francisco Giants was named to the National League award, while Triple Crown winner Miguel Cabrera took the award in the American League.

Lenny Dykstra, former Met and Phillies All-Star outfielder, is currently serving a three year prison sentence after pleading no contest to grand theft auto and providing false financial information. Federal prosecutors are asking that Dykstra serve a 30 month sentence on top of that one for pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud and money laundering in July. Though, the former baseball star could be facing 20 years when he is sentenced.
