Bubba Watson is a two time winner of The Masters.

The left hander took home his second green jacket Sunday after shooting a three under par 69 for the win. Watson led wire to wire over the four day tournament in Augusta, Georgia.

Watson’s 69 and 68 on Thursday and Friday set him up for a phenomenal weekend that would see challengers come and go. A Saturday 74 shook the veteran it seemed. When Sunday rolled around though Watson was all business, taking the momentum and the lead early and never looking back.

Jordan Speith, Watson’s playing partner on Sunday was looking to become the youngest winner (20) in the history of The Masters. Speith entered the tournament following a win at the John Deere Classic as a complete underdog. A solid three days put Speith right there with Watson on the final day. Unfortunately for Speith his -5 under for the tournament was not good enough to win as Watson went -8 under.

Bubba Watson is a fan favorite, the PGA and The Masters tournament could not have asked for a better champion again. Watson’s style of play fits the course at Augusta well. Watson made it well known he came to play this week, looking very competitive and fierce all weekend. Watson’s focus was never broke, he came with his eyes on the prize and he walked away with it Sunday.

This is Watson’s second career major victory and he becomes the 17th player to win The Masters twice. He looks to win his third major when the PGA heads the US Open on June 12-15th.
