Xavier’s Men are in a bit of a rut winning just 1 of their last 4, and 3 of the previous 7.  The Musketeers look to get back to their winning ways of the early season and climb in the Big East standings this week as they travel to Butler on Tuesday and Marquette on Saturday.

In an early Big East matchup against Butler (12-11, 2-9) the Musketeers took care of business at home, upending the Dogs 79-68.  Xavier will make the return trip to historic Hinkle Fieldhouse on Tuesday night at 9 p.m.  EST, a contest which can be seen on Fox Sports 1.

The Musketeers will follow up the trip to Indianapolis with a trip to Milwaukee for a 4 p.m. EST tip off at Marquette on Saturday, a game which will be aired on FOX.  Xavier basketball also handed the Golden Eagles a loss at the Cintas Center in January, an 86-79 Xavier win.

If the Musketeers can manage to post two road wins this wek, they can gain ground in the league standings, as #6 Villanova and #12 Creighton, 1st and 2nd ahead of Xavier, will face off on Sunday, February 16th at 5 p.m. EST.
