Cincinnati Bearcats Up To #13

The Cincinnati Bearcats (19-2) continued their winning streak on Sunday and continued their climb up the polls Monday as they Bearcats went from 15th last week to 13th this week. Cincinnati in the midst of a 12 game winning streak has steadily climbed up the rankings over that last month.

Cincinnati moved up two spots in the AP Top 25 to 13th this week, the Bearcats remain 15th in the USA Today Coaches Poll, a poll that they have not faired as well in this season. Sitting at 13th that marks the Bearcats highest ranking this season.

The Louisville Cardinals remained the same at 12th in the AP Poll setting up a big showdown Thursday night at 7pm in Louisville. The two schools meet for the first time this season Thursday in their second to last meeting for the foreseeable future as Louisville departs the AAC for the ACC following this season.

Cincinnati remains unabated in AAC play, the Louisville game marks their first true test in conference this season. The Bearcats need their big man Justin Jackson to be healthy after spraining his ankle Sunday against Temple.

ESPN is showing the game Thursday at 7pm as the Bearcats take on the Cardinals.
