Wide receiver AJ Green was among a lengthy list of players who missed today’s practice session, as work begins for Sunday’s wild card game against the San Diego Chargers.

Green suffered a knee injury in the regular season finale game against the Ravens. He is one of six offensive starters who missed today’s practice, eight players total.

Offensive linemen Anthony Collins, Andre Smith, Andrew Whitworth, and Kyle Cook didn’t practice. Tight end Tyler Eifert, cornerback Terrance Newman and defensive end Wallace Gilberry also didn’t take part.

This list isn’t a prognosis for how long any of the players will miss practice, or miss the game on Sunday. Concerns are with Eifert, who is still recovering from a stinger in the neck area, Gilberry, who suffered a concussion last weekend and Newman who still trying to come back from a MCL injury he suffered four weeks ago.
