Mat Latos took the mound for the Reds unfortunately his offense could not help him out. St. Louis pitcher Joe Kelly shut down the Reds then allowed his bullpen to embarass Cincinnati over the next 3 innings giving him the 6-1 victory.

I could sit here and tell you all about how the Reds lost the game last night. I’m not going to do that, you know what happened. There comes a point as a fan that you become increasingly fed up with your team. This is that moment for me.

The Reds are 4-10 against the Cardinals this season. In the 31 series since new Busch Stadium has been open the Reds have won 3 of them. St. Louis completely and utterly owns Cincinnati in every aspect of the game.

Each series we’re told this is the time, this is when the Reds will come out on top and every time we’re lied to except for the few series that the Reds have won at GABP.

Thanks to shoddy base running and horrible plate appearances the Reds continue to embarrass themselves. When ESPN calls you out on how awful your base running is you’re doing it wrong. Looking at you Zach Cozart.

So in recap, disgusted with the team, can’t win against the Cards, can’t wait for series to be over.

Third game of series is tonight, Homer Bailey (8-10) will be on the mound.
