Ben Simon Named Cyclones New Head Coach

Today the Cincinnati Cyclones announced that Ben Simon is their new head coach.

Simon is an Ohio native and a retired hockey player who last played for the Sheffield Steelers of the EIHL during the 2010-11 season. He was a fifth round draft pick in the 1997 NHL draft, he was selected by the Blackhawks.

Ben has spent that last two years as an assistant coach for the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL.

Simon played a total of 81 NHL games with the Atlanta Threshers and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
