Reds’ Ace, Johnny Cueto, was scheduled to start tonight’s game against the Colorado Rockies, but he has been scratched from the start.

The Reds have not announced why Cueto will not start, but they have announced that Pedro Villarreal will start in his place.

Villarreal has spent this season in AAA Louisville where he has 11 starts, a 1-3 record, has a 5.03 ERA, 15 walks, and 42 strikeouts.

Cueto has already been on the disable list this season when he strained a muscle in his back, we do not know if he has re-injured his back, or if he is ill, or anything. The bottom line is, Pedro Villarreal will start, and Cueto will not.
