It's Opening Day In Cincinnati

It’s that time of year again Cincinnati. Our hopes are high, our expectations are immense and for the first time since the early 90’s we can genuinely believe we have a shot at the World Series.

The Reds open against the Angels in the first inter league opening day for either team. Johnny Cueto faces Jared Weaver in a heavy weight matchup between two great pitchers from both leagues. There are plenty of story lines from this game, from Josh Hamilton to Albert Pujols returning to Cincinnati. Not to mention the story line involving the Reds and how a team mostly intact from last season will perform.

Joey Votto enters the season as numerous “experts” picks to be NL MVP this season. Next to that though this team has their sights set on the fall classic.

Regardless of the team the Reds are facing Great American will be sold out once again, the atmosphere will be like the post season. Go to the parade at noon, wave to some players, catch some candy. When thats over head to The Banks eat some good food then get ready for the game.

The Reds road to redemption begins today at 4:10, heres to a good season and out first postseason series win since 1995.
