The scene has been set again for the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers. The team is ranked 22nd in college football and on their way to a Big East Title that has been eluded the team from New Jersey. They have one major problem standing in their way, though; a furry, black Bearcat from Cincinnati who will lead a team on the field, hungry for the same title.

The Cincinnati Bearcats are no stranger to the Big East title and will look to make the road to the championship harder for the Scarlet Knights this afternoon. UC currently holds a 3-1 record in the conference, while Rutgers is 4-0. If Cincinnati can pull off the win today against the surging Scarlett Knights, they will face a one-win South Florida team next Saturday in Nippert Stadium.

The Bearcats will be led by fifth-year senior Brendon Kay this afternoon that had a breakout performance last week when he got the first start of his career against Temple. Kay threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns against the Owls, leading his team to a comfortable 34-10 lead. The Bearcats are also bringing another weapon of mass destruction in to the Rutgers game this afternoon. Running back George Winn has been an offensive powerhouse this year and last week ran for 83 yard and two touchdowns.

The game should offer a great match up between the two teams. UC has been calling for everyone to fill the stadium this week to cheer their team to victory. Action is scheduled to kick off at noon.
